Quality Assurance

Resource-Trac maintains quality assurance team that is separate and distance from its operations teams. This team’s sole responsibility is to ensure that Resource-Trac is meeting its quality standards. The team emphasizes Quality Assurance from inception of the task order and continues through every phase till completion of tasks. This requires advanced planning, assignment of qualified staff, and implementing a rigorous program that has well-established project management techniques. This proven approach will be used in all seven zones and in working on all 22 functional areas.

Our QA team will work to establish and maintain a quality environment throughout the life of the task order. As part of the task order initiation phase, we will meet with key stakeholders to establish the quality requirements for the task order. Once we have identified quality requirements, we will produce a Task Order Quality Management Plan. This Plan may include:

  • Processes for creating deliverables with minimal defects and for checking the deliverables
  • Procedures for assessing (measuring) the processes used and their improvement when indicated
  • Procedures for handling change
  • Standards for processes and deliverables
  • Tools (manual or automated) to support the activities

The Task Order Quality Management Plan will guide the Project Team in:

  • Establishing the Task Order quality environment
  • Performing quality assessments
  • Monitoring quality conformance, and taking preventative and corrective action
  • Maintaining quality records

Resource-Trac will also work closely with Navy Customers, in accordance with Navy rules to ensure cooperation and satisfaction. If the team identifies an area that is not meeting its customer service standards it will work diligently with the client to resolve any issues.

We promote each team member to continuously identify new ways of performing our jobs in cheaper, easier, and better ways. Customer focus allows us to define and then refine the components of each task and ensures that our programs and services meet or exceed customer requirements. As part of this effort we have won the following awards:

  • 2007 Supplier of the Year by Yoh/Day and Zimmerman
  • Top Supplier to Siemens VDO in 2004, 2005 and 2006
